Hi,

I got a single entry 3 month tourist visa on march. but then my flights on april got cancelled . and i seems I cannot make to thailand  anytime soon.   so what happens to my Visa . do i get an extension when I arrive on bkk airport  or I have to apply again  if I travel after the expiration of my visa duration.

The visa will expire. You will need to apply for a new one. The only way to apply for an extension is when you are in the country on a valid visa (or an existing extension of stay).

@roaming2019 Your 90 visa will have a 'valid from' date and a 'valid until' date, which will be for a period of 90 days. You may enter Thailand at anytime between those dates. They will stamp your passport with the day you entered Thailand and 'should' put another stamp with a date 60 days from the day you entered. You might extend that by another 30 days, which normally is approved.

 

The 90 day Visa is in reference to the period you may enter. Enter on the Valid Until date and you're good for 60+30(normally).
