Windows 10.

Featured Replies

i have an old laptop mainly used as a spare, my Windows 10 only lasted so long, not a real copy. I got a version from Lazada, and they gave me the wrong code and would not replace it, then I got a version from a vendor at  MBK and now it is telling me it is ready to run out.

Can anybody tell me a reliable source where I can get a genuine Windows 10?

If you have a working installer for Win 7 that still activates you can still use the free W10 upgrade from Microsoft, I tested it last month when dad needed an upgrade from W7.

Is that a genuine copy? I feel I got done with Lazada, Ebay may be similar.

They are genuine OEM keys.

If it's a spare, why not install Linux, and get free software?

yes an old laptop with the associated meager hardware is a poor mix with win 10 virus OS

I also used the free upgrade to W10 from W7 about a month ago.  I was actually able to install the W10 on a my home-built W10/Mac OS/Linux machine.  I learned about that free W7 >> W10 update from this forum.
