What is it with these very irritating, uninteresting, pop-up video advertising clips that appear on every page of every post of TV?

 

Or, is it just me that gets them?

They are intrusive and unnecessary.

they started on the right hand side of the screen about 2 months ago and then, recently, they moved to the left hand side, where they obliterate the damn post you are trying to read!

Why are they there? What can the moderators tell us about them? Were they moved because they covered up the 'topics' column?

Are they necessary?

I also get a 'flickering' page. I read a sentence - it jumps to a new place, higher on the screen - then it moves again and again. Annoying to say the least!

It isn't my computer that's at fault - it doesn't happen with any other programmes and I use a good anti-virus, together with Malwarebytes and Adware.

 

So what's going on? Why do we have our reading continually interrupted by this offensive little irritant?

Why can't someone sort it out?

 

It can't just be me...…………………...……………… can it?
