Just been at kbank for help with FACTA paperwork it was too easy.All they wanted was my name nationality passport number place of birth.They only want a Thai TIN number if you work in Thailand.Said tick no for all the US questions and ignore the tax resident in another country bit.Sign and date and the jobs a good 'un.Took 2 minutes. -

Trump and his followers.
Not really a surprise from a general populace reading at the 7th-8th grade level (who are filled with justified frustration/anger at the working middle class economic squeeze). I should add ... the result of the policies, actions/inactions of both major political parties. Thus, they have rejected both the Democrats and traditional Republicans and followed Trump and his Project 2025 ilk. -

Help needed with one question about UK frozen state pension.
Thank you @chiang mai. You have confirmed that the UK state pension can indeed be increased permanently to the current level. This is so confusing. I will be in the UK early next year when I intend to start my UK state pension at age 72. Yes I have intensionally deferred. Luckily at the moment I feel very healthy and my plan is to live to 102, so another 30 years 🙂 While in the UK I will myself contact DWP or the International Pension Centre and try to have the situation clarified in writing. Thanks again -

Do you choose where things go in your house?
Never ever give your wife/gf the authority to make decisions without your input. It sends a message that you are a pushover, and if you give them an inch, they will take a mile. My wife and I discuss all issues before we make a decision, but if there is an impasse and we can't agree, then I make the final call.
