Why not just have everyone get it tattooed on there forearms.

Husband:  Honey lets go to the next town and visit the shops they have.

Wife: Sounds good, let me pack up the kids.

Drive down the road they go, get stopped at the checkpoint

Soldier/Police:  Where you go?

Wife: Shopping in next town

Soldier/Police: "Papers Please", no papers show your Government mandated tattoo

And so it begans....

The plans of governor Thatchakorn include requiring all residents who have quarantined themselves at home for 14 days to seek special stickers for their ID.

...

It will allow the holder to go to fresh food markets, restaurants and other businesses in the province. People will be able to order drinks but not alcohol.

Uhm...

Aren't those who quarantined themselves at home for 14 days not supposed to stay home?

A sticker will declare them covid-free?

Or must read it as ''residents of Buriram who have quarantined themselves in the province for a few months..'' ?

Something in this reporting.

I am pretty sure its illegal to affix non immigration stickers to or in a passport it would invalidate passport even supposedly removable ones would be on dodgy ground

Be sure any sticker is on the outside of your Passport - do not (ever) allow any non immigration stickers on the inside pages

Agreed. Flatly refuse if they try or risk all sorts of probs while traveling when this nonsense is over.

In case nobody had noticed yet, this is the more worrying thing.

You can be assured that the alcohol ban is extended nationwide after 30 April

I live on the border.  TESCO and Macro are in another province. I go there, 14-day quarantine, shop, go home, 14-day quarantine, go back.

I have very clean hands

They should quarantine everyone in the airport for 10,000 baht a night for a minimum 14 days, and give them a 15-day visa extension.  Then sell them "covid-free" sticker when they leave for 10,000 and insurance for 1,000 a day

this virus will make people tens of trillions  when the world MUST get the vaccine every year.
