Is the Gifferine counter top water filter at 8,600 Baht.  https://www.lazada.co.th/products/i223502203-s341475365.html?spm=a2o4m.my_wishlist.price_observing.19.179c6108wpiFmb

Any better than the cheap version at 950 Baht. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/i724704101-s1388066106.html?spm=a2o4m.my_wishlist.price_observing.14.179c6108wpiFmb

Or are you just paying for the name?

Gifferene says 9 part filter while the cheapie says 5 part.

Is it worth the extra money?

Gifferene is a network marketing operation if I'm not mistaken and it's generally true that products sold that way tend to be more expensive than other channels.  That's only a comment on value for money, not the quality of the product.

Probably a good product that is a bit over priced

Stone age technology at today's inflated price in my opinion.  Was using such gravity ceramic filters in India 50 years ago.  They required a lot of maintenance to keep filters clean and operate very slowly.  Not what you want for more than a cup of tea every now and then in my opinion.  These do not have much information at all.  I personally like results of RO filtration (which is what is used for normal supermarket bottled water these days).
