Any Hotels Open?

Featured Replies

None that I know of. I called to inquire about an Airbnb. I was grilled by the owner, about whether or not I will be traveling with a Thai person. Without one, they said it is more difficult. Perhaps we will start to be treated as zombies? Fear seems to be ruling the day, even though Covid is dead as a doornail here in Thailand.

None legally. Walking in has the best chance. Even calling, many may not offer a room. As a farang, it is hard. If the hotel were to be questioned, for a Thai they can say they were resident since before the shut down in early April. Hard to prove they weren't. For a farang they would needed to have submitted a TM30 over a month ago.

Thank you for that helpful post.

I'm sure all those whose income depends on hotels disagree.

There's always one!

Hotels are open all over.

Even book on Marriott or other chain sites no problem.

Just checked for tomorrow night Marriott HH 3474 b a night.

Very nice place.
