My mother knew a lady who put her little dog in a microwave to dry it off.  Mind you, this was one of the first "radar ranges" in the late 1950's or early 1960's, one of the first consumer microwaves available.  It did not work out well I guess.

That is disgusting ....totally unhygienic. 

 

She says she treats the dogs like her children....does she shut her kids in a fridge to cool them off?
