If my memory hasn't failed completely, I do recall seeing some advertisements for storage rentals in either Kathu or Phuket Town. Something about dry space/locker large enough for household items such as beds, TV, motorcycles and so on.

Please, any recommendations or suggestions on where to look would be greatly appreciated.

Safeway Self Storage, directly opposite Wat Chalong on Chao Fa West Rd, uses converted shipping containers for self-storage units.

750 baht a month for a smaller space up to 2,000 baht a month for a 20-foot by eight-foot container.

Only their clients are allowed access to the premises, which are guarded by 24-hour security.

Insurance is available through a minimum one-year policy, which requires a full inventory of items to be insured to be submitted.
