Thailand's anti-fake news center has said that reports that a Thai woman collapsed outside a Rayong mall with coronavirus and was taken to hospital are untrue.

Thai media was abuzz with the story after a Facebook post.

An investigation deemed it was a fake news story and the Thai public should disregard it.

The official line is that there has not been a single case of the coronavirus in Rayong for 49 days.
