The provider subsequently retracted its words and announced that its clients can now access the website and other adult sites.

“inappropriate content”.

Without inappropriate action, no new babies.

Too many babies, is that why inappropriate?

I thought these kinds of websites are illegal here in Thailand ? Banned when Prayut took over from the elected Government .

A few months back someone posted a link to an English translation of the legislation.  Producing or selling for profit it most definitely illegal.  Possessing or watching is most definitely not illegal.  Uploading was a bit ambiguous if not for profit.

this is fascinating, because there are loads of adult websites being blocked by order of the former Ministry for Information and Communication Technology (MICT - has been replaced by MDES, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society).

why are some treated differently?

A little known secret is that the Thais block these sites because they want horny men to spend their money in the Thai flesh trade. There's no money in letting blokes waste their resources onto tissues in their condos.

I would never intentionally try one of these sites without using a VPN.

But I was puzzled to see how much hardcore porn is hidden in Twitter!

And that within harmless content without any "warning".

1) Pornhub is or was the 10th most popular website in LOS.

2) Does AIS or DTAC also block pornhub??

3) What about youporn??

So many unanswered questions.  The Government might have to allow these websites because the adult “entertainment” venues may not come back for a long time or possibly ever at all.

Same same here. Once you open and view then you are on their nasty views porn list. Would not want anyone official knocking on my door saying I  committed a crime. Not worth it.

Bans actually in place well before Prayut took over...far more internet blocks then then there are now.

The answer is to use a vpn. Not 100% effective but gives some protection.

And I am sure they know you use a VPN and maybe wonder why you are using one. I just think it is all a catch 22.

I;m surprised Thai men watch Pornhub, must be incredibly depressing if 'endowment' rumours are true.

Why would anyone do that, are you saying that looking at online porn is illegal now?

The drama unfolded after a woman asked the unnamed Internet provider on Twitter if it had blocked the famous adult video website Pornhub.

What's this all about? I've never heard of this problem or website.????
