Is Khao Chi Chan (Buddha Mountain) open?

Featured Replies

Looking to take the family there if it’s open to the public now. Any current info would be appreciated.

Went ahead and drove out, it’s open.

Should be very nice  now without the hoards of Chinese getting in the way ????

I looked on Google Maps and it said "temporarily closed" but they must mean one of the businesses there. I suspected that you'd still be able to see the "mountain" anyways but wasn't going to ride there myself to confirm it !

What's the admission fee for farangs, are there any C19 discounts?

Was a very pleasant visit, not many people at all.  Checked your temp and ensured you checked in at the entrance.

There is no admission fee...its a big Buddha image etched onto the side of a "mountain"

Didn’t visit Silver Lake Village.  May give it a look tomorrow.
