Popular Post Scouse123
As the Thai government is bending over backwards to ensure that the Chinese are included in any opening up of the region, I wonder if this latest study has reached the desks of the Covid19 office in Thailand or Prayut and his cabinet. It certainly warrants attention. https://www.news-medical.net/amp/news/20200608/Cremation-numbers-reveal-possible-suppression-of-true-COVID-19-data-in-China.aspx 2

Popular Post Matzzon
Ops! Now we start with the scared of Chinese people story??? What´s next? Is it because the virus emerged from that country? Forget it! The virus have been spreading all over the world by now. This is like saying it is to risky to let anybody in to the country. Actually, looking at reality. China already had it´s peak and have quite good control of the virus and it´s spread by now. Far better than USA, UK and Africa as well as South and Latin America and some of the European countries. 6 2 4

Popular Post Scouse123
Well, This is a publication by News medical life science, it isn't Fox news or CNN and it was only published on June 8th! I think it at least warrants further investigating because the Chinese have not been forthright and honest up to press, and that certainly has been proven. Mind you, nor have Latin American and European countries, especially relating to Covid deaths, some including care homes, some not, some including home deaths, some not. Brazil has stopped publishing running totals. Edited June 10, 2020 by Scouse123

Kenscot
Very concerning when you live in a condo where chinese owners illegally rent out there multiple units short term . Will this same government advice be given to hotels be also given to condos. With short term renters already resuming the practice of sneaking holiday makers into condo buildings now. What hope do residents have when the Chinese return to safeguard against the spread of sars2 to ensure health and well being. Time to resolve this issue and aid actual hotels who need the business..pay tax. ..and have the staff to ensure law and directive are adhered. Popular Post AAArdvark
I was certainly never a fan of all the Chinese (Mainland) tourists but there are interesting numbers. Thailand had huge numbers of Chinese coming to the country. Philippines was the same except it also had huge numbers of Koreans. Both countries had low numbers of virus deaths. The US banned flights from China but the virus came in from Europe and the US has huge numbers. It just shows that picking and choosing who gets in and who doesn't may not be straight forward. He is saying he doesn't believe the numbers coming out of China and nor do I and nor does most of the rest of the world. They are famed for being economical with the truth and downright lying. We have lousy infection rates in the UK and the USA but at least they are being independently checked and verified by multiple agencies. If China doesn't like the numbers, whoever publicizes them disappears or is jailed and fired from their position. Look at the ophthalmologist that first raised the alarm in China, publicly chastised, threatened, made to recant and humiliated in front of the country only to die of the virus weeks later aged 37. 3

This would be a good time for concerned condo owners in projects plagued with daily renters to get together and demand from their condo boards strong action to curb the daily renters for their safety. I was talking to a friend in Bangkok and his condo just put in face scanners as a security upgrade. All the owners and long-term renters were registered into the system and he no longer has to carry a keycard. There is new technology that could help curb this illegal activity. With the virus still not under control in many countries and likely with us for some time to come, it's more important then ever to limit the number of undocumented tourists using condo residences as illegal hotels.
