From the other topic I started re high electricity charges for my apartment a suggestion was to get my bedroom AC serviced thoroughly. Which is the main culprit clearly as it can't get the temperature down below 28C all night which means it never cuts off plus I have to have a fan running as well.

 

Appreciate recommendations for technicians to come around to my apartment (in Bkk near Victory Monument) and service it.

They do wear out.. especially after running it extensively without enough refrigerant in the system.  When you keep running it, and it can't cool, you are putting about five years worth of wear in the compressor in one year...or worse.  You can get a new system, 17-18k btu for about 20k..an inverter.  If you can't get 28c at night, turn it off and open a window.
