Best Cheap calls from Thailand to UK?

Featured Replies

I need to call the UK fixed line phone numbers, banks, etc.

What are the best options available to me for calling from Thailand does anyone know? Is it dial via my mobile with some prefix or via my laptop or buy an international calling card.

I intend to use the service infrequently so don't want to sign up for a large package or monthly service.

Thanks in advance.

Just to note I have a true SIM mobile and my wife has 12Call.

Cheers

Browsercalls. It's VoIP. Works well. Oh sorry no advertising.

Yes both the above....and sometimes you can nominate an overseas number to get even better deal...................

I use Skype, i only use occasionally so a top up of £5 can last year\s. 1p a minute to landline, 7p a minute to mobiles last time i looked

I use the Viber app downloaded to my phone.

Very cheap for UK calls. No contract and you can buy credit from as little as £2.50.

A decent internet telecommunications system.

Similar thread with similar answers running here (just substitute UK for Switzerland) As your missus is on AIS (12Call) my suggestion in that thread might help.

For when i need to make the odd call i use a C.A.T. card just start at 100 baht last ages ,obviously all my personal calls are done on line ,skype etc etc .
