How To Get Cool This Hot Summer Day

Featured Replies

Hot! Hot! Hot! How you escape such summer warm day without switching full blow on the aircon.

Care to share the best alternative way in cooling one place.

Good luck with this question--even my AC doesn't keep the bedroom very cool.

Lukewarm shower and without drying yourself stand in front of a fan or a/c. Works for me - scares the maid :o , but works for me!

Leisurely, your idea sounds good, but I am a little daft on how to do it, so could you post a picture for us!

mhm, i don't have the maid all the time around and specially at night time - so hot, i can not sleep well. but i give it a try maybe it works without a maid as well.

but i will ask her if she know the coolest Lotatz supermarket or shopping mall. and then go for a long walk there. when in Rome, do as the Romans do.

Years ago I got back to the hotel after a hard day at' mill , ordered room service coffee and

slid into a warm bath.

I dozed off in said bath and was woken (probably) by a maid looking for the tray etc.

The room door was facing the open bathroom door and she entered just as I was standing

up out of the (now) cold water.

Her scream scared me as much as the naked specimin she had been confronted with

scared her.

She's probably out of counselling by now , poor girl.

A Seinfeldian moment. I hope she made allowances for "shrinkage".
