Afternoon all. Some advice please. I plan on buying a pedestal drill. Bench mount. Any of you purchased one of these recently ?  What brand did you buy ? What power rating ? Are you happy with it ?   Thanks in advance.

Much depends upon what you want to do with it.

Great for small jobs. It's not perfect by any means but for occasional hobby work it's invaluable and not that much more expensive than those horrible stands you put your regular power drill in. 

Thanks Crossy. I did buy one of those hopeless drill holder things some time back. Bloody waste of money. So now it's going to be a proper pedestal drill.  Cheers.....     Mal.
