Large parades were held in Yala in Thailand's south and Khon Kaen in the north east to celebrate Liverpool's first ever English Premier League title.

 

Liverpool finally won the top flight after more than 30 years of trying a couple of weeks ago after the season was put on hold then restarted due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

 

In Yala 500 supporters from eight districts paraded from the clock tower around town and back to the station where the provincial governor handed over a premier league "trophy" to the ecstatic Reds' supporters.

In Khon Kaen there was a parade of ten high end cars decked out in Liverpool colors with 5 ten wheel trucks on the Mitraphap (Friendship) Highway. 

 

Daily News said that coronavirus protocols were followed amid the celebrations.
