Now if one pays with a card 1000THB Reduces Every time in Value it gets processed and the banks collect a % of that 1000THB. So now after a number of Card Transaction ones 1000THB is Declining in favor to the banks . Just look at the Extra Profit the Banks make per day say for for millions of Card Transactions. British National Killed in Sattahip Motorcycle Accident
We had a storm yesterday evening, lots of rain. It's night time, Z900, maybe a few beers, this is not the right time to go for a ride on a powerful bike. I choose my time carefully to ride my Ducati, early morning or afternoon (it's cooler), NOT raining, back home before dark for a few beers. When no roadworks, It's a nice ride, down the Sukhumvit to Rayong and back. -

Car Showroom Owner Takes Own Life Amid Financial Struggles: Pathum Thani
A car showroom owner, struggling with financial difficulties and unable to secure a bank loan, took his own life inside his vehicle on Phahonyothin Road in Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani. On the morning of October 4, Lieutenant Prachaya Kokun of Khlong Luang Police Station responded to reports of a suicide near kilometre marker 45 on the outbound side of the road. Investigators from the Khlong Luang Police, forensic experts from Pathum Thani Provincial Forensic Unit, and medical personnel from Thammasat University Hospital were dispatched to the scene. The victim, a 38-year-old man (name withheld), was found inside a red Suzuki sedan registered in Bangkok. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to his right temple. A .38 caliber Walther handgun was found beside him in the driver’s seat. The discovery was made by traffic police officers during rush hour, who noticed the car parked by the roadside and approached to check. Upon investigation, they found the man unresponsive, slumped over toward the passenger seat, with blood visible on his head. They immediately alerted investigators. The victim’s father revealed that his son was facing financial difficulties related to his car showroom business. After repeated attempts to secure a bank loan had failed, the pressure mounted. The night before the incident the victim had asked his father for a gun, claiming he needed it for self-defence due to concerns about a new neighbour. Despite the father’s belief that the financial issues were minor, it seems the ongoing stress pushed his son to a breaking point. The father confirmed that the .38 Walther handgun belonged to him. Crackdown: 22 Illegal Immigrants Arrested in Samut Prakan
In an operation on October 4, local immigration authorities in Samut Prakan apprehended 22 foreign nationals working illegally without the necessary permits. This crackdown comes in response to complaints received from the public regarding the presence of undocumented workers selling fresh vegetables and food in local markets. Under the directive of Pol. Lt. Gen. Itthipol Itthasanranchai, the Chief of Immigration Bureau, and assisted by Pol. Maj. Gen. Phanthana Nuchanart and Pol. Maj. Gen. Nattakorn Praphain, officers from the Samut Prakan Immigration Office conducted an investigation at two locations: the Bang Phli Housing Market and a roadside market near a local company in Bang Phli District. The investigation was prompted by reports submitted to the Ministry of Interior’s complaint centre, which alerted authorities to the illegal activities of foreign workers operating without work permits, thus potentially competing for local jobs. During the operation, officers from the Samut Prakan Immigration Bureau, alongside officials from the Provincial Employment Office, uncovered several Cambodian and Myanmar nationals. Those arrested reportedly earned 500 baht a day, worked without days off or overtime pay, and operated their own stalls from 01.00 to 11.00 daily. The arrested individuals face charges under the Immigration Act of 1979, Article 81, for being in the country without permission, as well as violations of the Foreign Workers Management Act of 2018 for working without proper permits. Pol. Col. Sumet Janwongpitak, Chief of the Samut Prakan Immigration Office, urged the public to report any suspicious activity involving foreign nationals to assist in ongoing enforcement efforts. In hot countries you it was Easy St - at least easily accessible fruit and plant foot all year round - not so in Northern Europe where people had to PLAN AHEAD OR DIE hence they evolved to be smarter than others. People might not like to acknowledge it but it is what is though I'm in now way asserting that all westerners all of much use - Tough times create tough men... Easy times create weak men hence here we are. -

Pregnant Woman Evacuated by Backhoe After Flash Flood Destroys Bridge: Lampang
Local authorities in Mae Phrik District, Lampang Province, used a backhoe to evacuate a heavily pregnant woman after a flash flood destroyed the only bridge connecting her village to the outside world. The woman, nine months pregnant and nearing her due date, was safely transported across the swollen stream to a hospital. The incident occurred in Ban Huai Khinok, Mae Phrik Subdistrict, after heavy rains caused a flash flood at around 04:00 on October 4, which washed away the village’s bridge. The destroyed bridge left more than 250 residents from 108 households stranded, as it was the sole access route into and out of the village. District Chief Piyawut Phithakboriban, who also heads the Mae Phrik Disaster Relief Centre, led the rescue team. As water levels in the Mae Phrik stream began to recede, the team deployed a backhoe to the site. Using the backhoe’s bucket, they transported 31-year-old Ms. Bum, who was nine months pregnant, to safety. She was then transferred to an ambulance and taken to Mae Phrik Hospital in preparation for her scheduled delivery on October 8. The rescue operation saw the pregnant woman seated inside the backhoe’s bucket, which was carefully maneuvered across the stream by the driver. The successful evacuation was a collective effort involving local officials, volunteers, and the Mae Phrik rescue team. Though the water levels are decreasing as the rains subside, the villagers remain isolated due to the destroyed bridge. Emergency machinery has been approved and is en route to the site, with construction on a temporary bridge expected to begin on October 6. The backhoe was provided by Mr. Montri Thanasitsunthorn, the head of Mae Phrik Subdistrict, along with assistance from local authorities, police, rescue teams, and volunteers.
