newnative
Well, of course he is 'uncomfortable'. He knows this is just one more unnecessary very bad deed added to the already high stack of dastardly deeds done since he took power. The higher the stack reaches, the more likely it will reach the 'tipping point' and the people will finally revolt. We saw just such a tipping point reached in the US with the Floyd George death by police--years of similar incidents by the police until finally a tipping point was reached. I'm sure the PM is seething--why, oh why didn't they just continue to play the game of pretending to bring the killer to justice! We're diligently searching high and low, people and we're sure to find him one of these days. They had until 2027 to pretend to look! Total idiots, he's thinking.

If he is so uncomfortable with this then as the PM he can do something and show the public that he is not on the same side as the rich & famous. Time to show that there is some credibility left in the country. If he lets this slide then the gloves are off for everyone to what the hell they like! Srikcir
Just a reminder that PM Prayut announced last year that he will supervise Royal Thai Police and chair the Police Commission himself. He also will supervise the Department of Special Investigations (DSI). A little late to be uncomfortable with the State dropping prosecution against Voyaruth. Perhaps a vote of confidence needs to go before Parliament.
Popular Post Bob12345
The perfect scenario, PM feels uncomfortable about it and will demand explanations. It will take months, if not years, before more information comes out and everybody will forget about this whole thing. In the end the PM scored by letting this pass by so people below him could receive nice amounts of bribes, and he also scored for the public opinion by speaking out about it while not taking any action. Win win for him, and he has to do nothing for it.

Happyman567
I just have one question. If Interpol are involved as the government has been saying for a while now and they know where the guy is and living why has he not been arrested and deported? I think we all know the answer to that? fraggleRock
So Thailand is on the verge of economic and political collapse, the PM is concerned with something that happened years ago that underwent a brown envelope exercise years ago. Get a dam grip PM and sort your starving people which should be of a greater concern... whats an absolute failure to the human race of Thailand, your a slow kid that was sent to private military school that got on his knees to many times..! tomauasia
Smoke and mirrors nothing will change. The REDBULL family carry enormous weight. And Prayut wants a few years of above ground retirement lol. He was very comfortable taking money off the family as a donation. Mark this as spam.

XJPSX
He would of known the decision before it was handed down. The decision won’t be overturned. The only thing he would be uncomfortable with is that it made the 2nd page in The NY Times. I received 5 phone calls of disgust from people in other countries. It is not because a particular government and some people in a institution is corrupted that everybody is corrupted. Where are you from ?
