I know this doesn't concern most as the tax exemption threshold is high and any tax payments have been deferred until next year due to covid. However, I might have an issue with a piece of vacant land we purchased next to our house. I did a video explaining more about my situation and am interested if anyone else received anything similar from the land office concerning land.

Your situation is interesting in that you own the adjacent property. My wife owns a vacant plot of land which I hope to have taxed as agricultural land. We don't live in Thailand and I haven't heard if the property is being treated as a vacant lot or not. The last time my wife went to the government office in 2017 to pay for 3 years of land taxes, it was only something like 130 baht because she told them she has some coconut trees on it. Now if they consider this land as vacant property then I will suggest she plants more coconut trees. Fortunately, the land gets enough rain to make this possible.
