he went in search of the owner called Suthep, 46.

Suthep tried one but it wouldn't start. On the second attempt it exploded throwing Suthep to the ground.

Makes my heart bleed. I hope he had insurance. ????

Not this time. For a start the owner was trying to start it, and second it's a bit hard to extort a sucker renter from a hospital bed.

Jakkrit said it was clear that his "Luang Phor Ruay" amulets from Ayuthaya had caused him to be saved.

Not if was out in deeper water, that lot would have dragged him down to the bottom.

He won't feel too lucky, when he gets the bill for the jet ski!  After all, it was working fine, when it was rented to him initially. ????

New Immigration requirement…effective immediately

Upon arrival in Thailand, all Farang are required to lease a personal protection amulet. Government certified amulet dealers will assign the correct amulet based on scheduled travel plans and activities.

Farang visitors are required to secure an amulet with a minimum rental fee of 50,000 Baht per week. This fee will be accompanied by a refundable deposit of 100,000 Baht.

All amulets must be returned prior to departing the country so the amulet can be recharged with magical powers and recycled for further use. Deposits will be forfeited if the amulet is returned damaged and/or contaminated by evil spirits.

NOTE 1 : The government assumes no liability if the amulet is not used properly

NOTE 2: This requirement does not supersede previously existing Immigration insurance conditions...which remain in force.

You forgot amulet insurance !

Every Religion is  about:

The belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.
Believing in something what one can't see and Money and Power.
