I stayed at the Mae Nam resort last year, and fell in love with the place and the family who runs it. It's a tiny little place on a gorgeous stretch of beach with great bungalows. I've tried to contact them since but it seems none of their contact info is still current (I saved a napkin with their info) Is the place still there? Does anyone know how to contact them? (Online reservations would be preferable)

Thanks

It's probably a bit late in the day for an answer, but Maenam Resort was still there in March 2004.

The contact details that I have are:

Maenam Resort

1/3, Moo 4, Manam Beach,

Koh Samui, Surat Thani, THAILAND

Tel: +662 6730966 Fax:+662 2119656

Email: [email protected]

Don't suppose anyone's got any good tips for somewhere similar to this in Lamai / Hua Thanon? I've spent hours on the internet and think I must know the name of every single place on that coast, but it's really hard to tell what you're getting online.

Looking for: (probably same as everyone else) clean, on beach, hot water, within walking / cycle ride distance of Lamai, no more than 1200 per night (preferably 600!).

Many thanks
