Expats should be aware that there is an increasing number of anti-government protests. Although they haven’t been violent, police have started arresting people. There will be a flash mob this afternoon on the skywalk in front of MBK and at LIDO. You might want to avoid the area.

When you say "flash mob" are you talking about folk showing their "naughty bits".....

There's too much eff-ing – if that's what it is – in ROFLMFFARTFO for my liking and unlike with ROFLMAO, acronymfinder.com would not have found it for me.

 

Given my discovery of the limitations of acronymfinder.com when it comes to acronyms specific to texting (SMS) and social media I should like to ask if there is a website or preferably an app for this special category of often puzzling but mainly useful and otherwise amusing acronyms.

 

It would save me the trouble of having to ask for an explanation and make me feel less behind the times every time I come across one I do not recognise.

I made PML up myself so it will not be in any acronym list. 

But of course, it's bad business practice to use TLAs.
