webfact Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Minister orders energy agencies to create more jobs By The Nation Energy Minister Supattanapong Punmeechaow. New Energy Minister Supattanapong Punmeechaow has instructed state energy agencies to draw up job creation plans to boost the virus-hit economy. They must also seek ways to ease energy costs for people and consider measures to peg the cost of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and natural gas for vehicles (NGV). He asked them to share the plans with one another in the next two weeks. He said his policies focused on boosting the subdued economy, creating jobs, and laying a foundation for the country's future energy direction. The planned community power plants project would continue, he said, with 30 days needed to revise details. The project is expected to invite applications to construct the plants late this year, with commercial operation expected to begin early next year. On planned bidding for petroleum exploration and production rights, he has asked the Department of Minerals Fuel to gauge the number of potential bidders to assess whether it is worth calling an auction at present. yellowboat Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Are there solar panels on all government buildings? Are all air conditioners clean and working at top efficiency? There is all this cheap labor now. 1
Popular Post Fex Bluse Posted August 20, 2020 Popular Post Posted August 20, 2020 If they were smart, they would order the foreign tourists to come back. When luring won't work, just order them. 5

How can you make up new jobs. A? How about we create inactive posts, and pay money to those people from the reduced assets we will gave from reducing g prices. khunjeff Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 Must be amazing to be able to just sit back and "order" things rather than actually having to figure out how to do them. 2

But it sounds a thai-logical plan, cut costs by hiring redundant people...

Scott Tracy Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 Create more jobs. Who will pay these people? The bill payer. At the same time, reduce the bills... Seems to me like an impossible job for the energy agencies. Increase costs, decrease bills. Lose money hand over fist. No investment, no backhanders. 2
Redline Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 They want to create jobs, when they likely do little of their own. Just make some jobs-I’m busy
kevc Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Well he's solved the problem he's just ordered somebody else to solve it for him, time for a well deserved beer. 1

Ah those generals..... no wonder armies are good only at suppressing their own people, while they fail at protecting their own people against foreign armies. 1

Yes, Thailand being the center of the universe and usurpers having absolute power, it should be a no-brainer just to order EU, US and China to send all their people. Actually, just send the cash.
