Didn't you mean 'Sorry, airmail mai dai?

Send you letter to HK registered which is a lot cheaper but much slower than EMS, but at least you'll get a tracking number.

I've been trying to send a letter to the USA since June. The Thai Post Office won't send it except for the EMS service at 790 Baht. And still NO guarantee of prompt delivery. Stories I've heard say that it's taken more than 2 months to arrive, if at all. Some are assumed to be lost and I simply can not risk that with my letter. It contains a check that MUST go there very soon. Any suggestions from readers here?

List of available services to various destinations here:- https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OGkBLRXkgaOuA-x2N-I2fLe0faBrUXeu/view

Currently only EMS and ePacket available to Hong Kong.

FWIW, this list does not include CourierPost, the ThaiPost service in partnership with DHL, for some reason?

I think CourierPost is available to all the same countries as EMS World (Document)?

Strange about Hong Kong though as there are quite a few flights daily BKK-HKG, including TG 600 and TG 606, CX, several cargo flights and tag-ons from KL, EK, ET, AF. ten or eleven dailies.

I've sent envelopes to the U.S. recently: EMS World (Document) 880 THB took ~ 11 days. CourierPost 990 THB was pretty amazing, 4 days - it was delivreed before I even thought to track it.

No , lucky it is not ????, but the title mention no airmail possible …..oh I forgot  USA !USA !USA !????

Should put complete title no  airmail to USA, BTW  other people mention Hong Kong , does HK. also lies in USA ? ..... Hence your reply if Belgium is in the USA ????

Anyway you know now there is Airmail possible to Europe 5555

Yes, air- and seamail is only available to certain countries at this stage (Germany, Poland, Switzerland etc) but for instance NOT to the US. What I find intriguing though is that I get airmail letters once a month that were posted in the US, takes about 4 weeks on average. So, IN is possible but OUT is not!

That is at least the complete situation ….. as I reacted on the uncomplete title to find out it is a USA air mail problem

OP is not talking about Europe. There's a list at Thailand Post where you can check available postal services to different countries.

100gr Int’l Letter-Air to France 80 THB. So your price is just for Hongkong.

Not, it is not. There is no airmail or seamail service to most countries at present (well, since approximately April). The easiest way to check if there is standard service is to go to the Thai Post website and check prices. If the prices are high, then there is no standard service (at present).

There are many ways to transfer money that are quicker, safer and more convenient than a cheque (note correct spelling!) especially in these troubled times. You may however need a trusted intermediary, if the accounts concerned present obstacles.

The different prices are a result of the reduced flights. Almost all planes (included passenger planes) brought air fright to other countries. Now at most fright planes fly around and the prices gone up. If thailand not have  flights to Malta, they not sent post to there. A agreement with italy or france to forward the post to malta is about not enough post a no go. And it give much more flights to europe as to australia.
