A Toyota car salesman in Chaiyaphum won first prize yesterday in the state lottery.

 

Thirty six year old Phaisan had eight tickets with the number 244083 landing a 48 million baht windfall. 

 

He said that he was out eating in a Muang district restaurant when a lottery vendor came in and thrust the tickets into his hand begging him to buy.

 

He said he would give some to his siblings and do some "tham bun" or merit making at the temple.

 

But he won't be giving up his sales rep job as he likes it and it is good for him. 

 

He was pictured at Muang Chaiyaphum police station where he registered his win.

    You mean give without a return when you use the word "Lend" in the Thai sense of the word. Am i correct.....????
