You should be aware that he does not carry out any documentary or notarial services, and that you are advised to contact the British Embassy in the first instance so that the Consular Team can direct your query to the right person.

The Pattaya Consul is Bert Elson who owns the Tropical Bar on the Dark side. Tel 038-197-002

It is my understanding from another source that he is an honorary consul and therefore only deals with emergencies. (see previous post)

Yes, that's correct. There are two main offices to get official business done; the Bangkok Embassy and Chiang Mai office. There is no office based in Pattaya anymore. Honorary consuls won't be able to help you if you need anything done officially.

I don't think there's an office in Chiang Mai either now.

I think they closed around May 2015
