Seeking to close gap, Trump bashes Biden on fracking as campaign intensifies

The thing is, no matter what the Democrats said, Trump's restriction was utterly ineffective. The reason why? Well, the main reason is that he didn't ban air travel with Europe for another 40 days. 40 days!  And he actually waited another 4 days to ban travel with the UK and Ireland. Coincidentally, he has 3 golf resorts in those nations.  The virus strains that ravaged New York came from Europe. Clearly, the only reason he banned travel with China was a political one to point blame And he didn't actually ban travel from there.  Just restricted it but took no steps to quarantine travelers from China.

His restriction on china still allowed over 40,000 to come in.

A quick reality check is in order.

"Within hours of President Trump's decision to restrict travel from China on Jan. 31, top Democrats and media figures immediately derided the move as unnecessary and xenophobic -- and they are now beating a hasty retreat from that position as the coronavirus continues to ravage the economy and cause scores of deaths."

That has been proven untrue many times already on here.

Well, I'm going to do something different and post about fracking. It turns out in Pennsylvania, the fracking industry was collapsing even before Covid.

And fracking is not so popular in Pennsylvania as you might think:

Yeah, THAT'S the way to win over Florida seniors.

It's almost as if he's TRYING to lose, and I'm certainly not the first to have voiced that observation.

If retirees were an important component of the Florida electorate you might have a point. But since...oh wait a minute...

He doesn't need one, business is voting for a Biden win.

Do businesses vote in the US?

Or maybe you mean that they buy votes, or elections, like in most other banana republics...

They donate, which is a big indicator.

Pleeeeeeze! Businesses don't give a fig for ANY politician (or any human being for that matter). They only care who is more profitable, and they seem to be giving Joe the nod.

Not as such, but they do place their bets in the markets, mostly hedging currencies. Sorry, can't post a link to the original article. The author presents a fairly convincing argument the bets are on Biden.

Complete B.S.! Pelosi complained about the second Muslim ban.

"Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) ripped President Trump’s expanded travel ban after he included six other countries to the list of those that will face increased travel restrictions.

January 31

“The Trump Administration’s expansion of its outrageous, un-American travel ban threatens our security, our values and the rule of law. The sweeping rule, barring more than 350 million individuals from predominantly African nations from traveling to the United States, is discrimination disguised as policy,” Pelosi said in a statement."

https://thehill.com/homenews/house/480991-pelosi-trumps-expanded-travel-ban-is-outrageous-un-american-and-threatens-rule

"A viral video makes the bogus claim that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s Jan. 31 tweet criticized the Trump administration’s restriction on travelers from China to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus. Her tweet was unrelated to those travel restrictions."

Please show us a single quote from Pelosi or Biden criticizing Trump for deciding the China Travel ban (mentioning the CHINA travel ban). There is none. Actually, contrary to what Trump claims, nobody really cared about it. He just decided what 50 other countries decided at around the same time.

Joe Biden still cannot draw a crowd.  Polls mean nothing.  Where are all the Biden lawn signs?

I saw an interview with the previous British ambassador to the US. He told us how he was "surprised" when he drove around American towns before the 2016 election at how many lawn signs there were for Trump when all the polls were giving a sure victory for HRC. When he spoke to people they were all for Trump.

I guess the pollsters weren't asking those people.

The polls were correct.
