Thai media 77kaoded reported that a military unit intercepted 15 men who were in a convoy transporting Ya Ba in the area of Doi Pha Mee in Mae Sae during the night midweek.

But when the soldiers presented themselves and asked to search 13 rucksacks the entire convoy ran off into the night.

Officials were on the scene next day examining 1.95 million pills of Ya Ba (methamphetamine mixed with caffeine) that were dumped.

The incident happened in a ravine where macadamia is grown.

The drugs had come across the border from Myanmar, it is believed.

Wow that was some operation by the military. 15 members of the gang ran away without even 1 being apprehended. Highly trained gang meets Keystone Army.

yes indeed - incompetency comes to mind!! I wonder what will become of the 1.95 million ya-ba pills?

Maybe they were delivering the drugs to the army.

Usually I wait about 11 days before searching an area.   Flashlights, flood lights.....nah....that hurts the eyes of the snakes.

May I suggest you arrive at day 12 in Chiang Rai to help the military

and police to get things done right?  -  Have fun in this area at night.

Are you available?

Tonite you could go there. Where are you?  I can't see you.

May be you didn't notice, left (west) of the small white line there is

Burma/Myanmar. Directly on the other side your beloved Thailand

and their incapable military forces.
