AIS website - How to register online?

Featured Replies

I'm trying to get a SIM card on the AIS website and they are asking for ID.  No option for Passport number or Thai driver ID.

Also, no English language option for the Get Sim Card section.

Anyone got their AIS Sim Card online?  If not, I guess a visit to their shop would be the easiest.

Just go buy one from a 7-11 or Tukcom, or Panthip or any IT center. You'll need your passport or Thai ID. Simple.

Was in shop to buy 4G-4mbps-unlimited for mobile router.

They told me is only online available.

Ordered online, COD.

Had to go again to shop with passport for activation.

Asking 3 years later if it is now possible to register sim online with a passport or do they still only accept Thai ID.

Any company is fine....true, dtac, ais....whatever

I registered a dtac SIM on their app using my UK passport earlier this week.  A bit unusual getting the passport number recognised but working OK now.

Examine 30 million mobile banking accounts "The name does not match the SIM card" and does not show up and will be suspended from use.

On May 15, Mr. Prasert Chandraruangthong, Minister of Digital Economy and Society (DE), revealed that at a meeting of the Technology Crime Prevention and Suppression Committee Measures have been issued to block horse accounts by having the NBTC office develop a central platform to link bank account information with mobile service providers' SIM cards. To check the use of mobile banking accounts Must match the registered name of the SIM card.

It will start on May 27th and is expected to take approximately 120 days.
