Funny thing though, my white collar friends all complained of a soft job market before the flu.  Now they are out of a job.   Does anyone besides Mr.100 really care if cha cha pleased?   He is a coward and the main reason why the youth of Thailand feel disenfranchised and that Thailand is not keeping up with its neighbors.    Bringing this up now is just petty and in bad taste.

Just move the poverty line to where ever you want your propaganda numbers to be, sorted.

A report from about 18 months ago is meaningless now, 15% of the Thai economy has gone down the gurgler ( Hint: tourism ). If Prayut thinks he will get brownie points, he is sadly mistaken.

If  The Government was at all serious about lifting the conditions of the poor , it would see ALL construction work was done by Thais  as it is  'listed' , and at the mandated minimum wage.

Instead , it lets their cronies  with the money and constructing  the buildings ,  use imported labour . Labour thats not even supposed to do those jobs , and  the already wealthy save on costs big time. Somchai Thai doesnt get a look in if he wants  a fair days pay.

This is a measure of how much they really  care.

Well gotta hand it to the PM for seeing the glass half full. From 2015-18 poverty levels increased in the Kingdom. Wonder how 2020 gonna look... here’s the kicker... poverty level is making less than $1.90 USD a day! Please tell me I am wrong.
