On your desktop, I assume. Go find the .exe, right-click and Send To deskop as a link . You might also right-click the icon (for the link), go into Properties, and select Run As administrator.

No, It's on my laptop,  it is fine on my desktop.

Your laptop has a virtual desktop. That's where your desktop icons are.

it is only these past two weeks this has happened, everything has been fine up until then.
