SDNY is part of NY State govt so it isn't governed by the Feds. But maybe you knew that and were just commenting on the Feds?

The Southern District of New York is the office of one of the US Attorneys of the US Dept. of Justice.

if Biden won Nevada and Georgia, you can't even call that a close race more like a landslide

45 called 306 a landslide in 2016. 306 is not a landslide. It is a solid win. Hopefully Biden can get to 306 as well. If Georgia and Nevada hold for Biden both likely Biden won't even need Pennsylvania or Arizona to be elected President.

Uh, we as American people are in the process of voting Trump out right now. He is toast. Take a look at the UK they voted in Boris Johnson and look what is happening to them between Covid and Brexit.  Better re think your post mate.

Many reasons.  For one thing the US has the worst education system among the wealthy nations.  US participants in the international PISA tests routinely score at the bottom.

Donald Trump's criminal associates, first and foremost his family members, are clearly in meltdown / downfall mode already. What's with calling for total war? Insanity!

Speaking as a Brit, I have to agree with you.  And not all Americans are like Trump and his moronic gang.

The only fly in this ointment is Lady G is planting seeds of the Georgia Supreme Court intervening to give 45 the state's electoral votes. There is currently an army of Democratic lawyers at the ready to take this battle on. Republicans can't just win fair and square.

The counties left are strongly Democrat. Even if Biden wins 100% of the rest of the votes, it will still be too narrow a finish and will result in a recount. You are absolutely right to show cautious optimism.

The good news? NO presidential election recount ever resulted in a flip.

Military ballots still need to be counted right? They probably are mildly pro 45. Maybe expats as well not sure but they would lean Biden.

Boris Johnson is a looney toon but he's nothing compare to Trump, I'm still shock and awe since 2016 that over half of American VOTED for Trump

Yes probably if he wins Pennsylvania but he won't win Pennsylvania.

Have you ever met any Americans?

I have.  Lived there too and still have quite a few American friends living in different countries.  They are all holding their heads in their hands over this fiasco.

Actually, not necessarily true. There's a lot of anger in the military. For one, abandoning the Kurds didn't sit well with soldiers. For another deploying them to the border away from their families for what was clearly a show, also didn't ingratiate Trump with them.

No, that's never been true. More people voted for Hillary in 2016 and far more voted for Biden so far this election.

I basically implied that already that the military ballots are probably not going to be a serious threat to Biden's lead. I can't predict the exact breakdown but I think most people assume military vote would be quite right wing and recent surveys as you indicate refute that assumption. That said if its super close and it turns out the military vote is 60 percent for 45 who knows. Just count the votes.

So Donny received less than half the votes (about 48%), came second, and still wants to be Top Dog.

He should give Prayut a call. Prayut pulled off a miraculous victory with less than 18% of the votes.
Prayut will show him how it’s done. Palangchart will be laughing at Donny’s amateurism.

Biden got the most votes any presidential candidate ever got. Trump got the second-most votes any presidential candidate ever got. However this election ends (and every sane, decent human being can only hope Biden wins), it is shocking that so many people voted for a fascist with the brain of rotten Hot Dog. It is obvious that a very large part of this country consists of <deleted>-poor, uneducated rednecks, and that’s something that you cannot fix in a 4-8 year term. The country is broken.

That's not completely true. This election has exposed the evil rot of racism running STRONG in the US. Poor rednecks can't afford those expensive boats nor those YUGE trucks like those that attacked the Biden campaign bus. As well, MANY educated white evangelicals who watch the State TV Channel are vehemently pro-life and are willing to sacrifice almost anything to save a fetus. Your last sentence? Spot on!

This one speaks for itself:

Arizona voters sue Maricopa County over Sharpie use at polling sites, as officials say votes will count

Several voters in Maricopa County, the largest in Arizona, brought a lawsuit Wednesday against Democratic County Recorder Adrian Fontes, the county Board of Supervisors and others, claiming that the use of Sharpie permanent markers at some polling sites left ballots too damaged to be counted.

After an investigation was opened into the matter by Republican Attorney General Mark Brnovich in Arizona, county and election officials have sought to reassure voters who may have used such a marker.

Democratic Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, whose office oversees elections statewide, told Arizona's in-person voters that their regular ballot would be counted, no matter what kind of pen was used to fill it out.

He wont even make a year.

If beaten now Trump will return stronger in 4 years.

I already wrote that, contrary to 45's comments, Georgia's election apparatus is run by the Republican Secretary of State under a Republican Governor.

Now the Philadelphia City Commissioner, Al Schmidt, just said on CNN that both R and D observers have been in the Philly counting room since the start. Schmidt is a Republican.  He also said they have a live feed which anyone can watch, though he did not give the website.

So like in Georgia, it is a Republican in Philly who---according to 45---is 'stealing the election'.

You are expecting early parole?

Trump is just annoyed he wont have taxpayers pay for his golf and the millions the secret service paid to his resorts for overpriced rooms.

Regarding governing, mcconnell might have trouble blocking Biden's Cabinet or agency picks, and that assumes Dems do not take the two Georgia Senate runoffs.  45 set the precedent of appointing "Acting" Chiefs of everything from DoJ to Homeland Security, and many of his "Acting" picks kept their position longer than the law allows.

President Biden will be free to do the same, and no Repub can do anything about it.

If biden is too old now for you then trump in 4 years is too old for you.

Or doesnt that matter now.

“STOP THE COUNT,” Trump bellowed on Twitter, a missive he quickly retweeted just over an hour later. “ANY VOTE THAT CAME IN AFTER ELECTION DAY WILL NOT BE COUNTED!” he added.

The only problem: If the vote-counting stopped at that moment, Trump would lose.

He want's observers in, as is legally allowed.

Strange that they don't want to let them in, what do they have to hide?
