snoop1130
Stringent checks at Thai-Malaysian border to curb Covid By The Nation Photos by Charoon Thongnual Tight controls have been put in place at the Sadao border checkpoint in Songkhla province to curb the spread of Covid-19, especially since Malaysia has been recording up to 1,000 new cases daily. Sadao district chief Chavakit Suwankhiri said all cargo trucks will be disinfected as soon as they arrive at the border and local drivers will replace Malaysian ones. As for Thai nationals wanting to return from Malaysia, they will only be allowed to enter the country on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and will be required to complete the mandatory 14-day quarantine.
