The only thing that making it legal did was to bring more scrutiny upon drivers when stopped. The same would hold true here in Thailand. 1 1

Popular Post reptile91602
If only the USA would stay away from internal politics. The drug war has been an abject failure in america. Way to go Oregon. Way to go Thailand over abortion laws. 4

Category II comprises 102 ordinary narcotics, such as morphine, cocaine, codeine, medicinal opium, and fresh opium. 2
Tropicalevo
Thailand has intercepted a lot of drug shipments recently. But no one is looking at what they do with them after they 'confiscate' them. So they find 30 billion baht worth of drugs. Sell them back to the dealers and 'hey presto'. Another submarine or mega project.
DLock
Thailand is like an insecure dog. Every time is fetches a ball or shakes hands, it needs the affirmation of the its sometime US Master giving it a pat on the head an a biscuit. ...and this is something I would have expected 20 years ago, not just because Thailand fetched a new stick. 15 hours ago, snoop1130 said: saying the United States is ready to work with Thailand on drug suppression and other crime related issues.

eeworldwide
But yesterday : A new Public Health Ministry regulation allows the sale and possession of category II narcotics under the Narcotic Act BE 2522 (1979). An announcement to the effect was published in the Royal Gazette website on Monday. Category II comprises 102 ordinary narcotics, such as morphine, cocaine, codeine, medicinal opium, and fresh opium. I don't understand what the flip is going on in Thailand right now. And today they just endorse an abortion bill allowing termination up to 12 weeks of pregnancy...
