Return to Thailand - Permanent Residence - Allowed?

Featured Replies

Lots of valuable information on the testing, insurance etc for traval to Thailand on this forum, and I've also looked at the Thai embassy in Seoul website, but can't see any info on Permanent Residence holders.

I plan to return to Thailand next month.  I got my multi-exit permit before I left Thailand, but now not sure how/if I fit into the requirements for return to Thailand.

I have PR and the 'Blue Book' residence cert - but don't see this listed as a requirement for C of E?

Any insights much appreciated.

It is also on the online COE appointment page shown here.https://seoul.thaiembassy.org/en/index

Great - thank you!

It looks like the key challenge now is getting the timing right.  Flight booking, test, ASQ booking.   I guess flexible and flight and ASQ bookings would help, if possible.

Might be of interest to you also...

Looks suspicious as not fully consistent  (price for BC) with Embassy website where flight booking can be requested.

Further, hopefully the quarantine period will soon reduce to 10 days with a reduction in cost.

At this time that will only be for those from low risk countries.

I thought for now that idea had been hit on the head.

It was, however I suspect it will come back for further discussion, pushed strongly by the travel, tourism and hospitality industries.

Also in the pipeline is what new/adjusted policies will accompany mass vaccinations. US media is reporting, just now, that mass vaccinations in the US will probably start mid Dec., but of course all wait and see.

Luckily I'm returning from a (currently) low risk country - but the 10 day proposal looks to be a bit on/off.  I'll plan for the 14/15 days, and may get time off for good behaviour.  ????
