I for one am not interested in the first lot of vaccine, probably like all first vaccines it wont do the job etc. as for kids at school am I glad I passed that, we had five, and it did not matter what we did you could not stop them from bringing something home (no did not have Chinese kids at our schools back then) but they still came home with the flue and who can forget the nits in the hair? short hair time

So how do they define 'the elderly and vulnerable groups'? All retirees here in Thailand are over 50 anyway so what is the cut-off age? Will be interesting to see if I get vaccinated when I turn up at a public hospital with my ID card showing me to be 75 years old!

Where they just waiting for a Chinese vaccine? Or are their priorities more to have arguments to keep the emergency law as long as possible active during the coming year? Or were they busy with their own money making and just forgot to preorder a vaccine? At this time many leaders of countries around the world are on a ultra power control surge high, all are in on the 'Great Reset', 'Build back better', Build back for them, not the soon to be second class people, there's only two classes planned for, them the 'few elites', and the majority of second class ones that will own nothing.

FDA meets December 10th in the US.  Approval is expected then.  Planes are already on tarmacs waiting to transport the jabs.  First ones will be getting them on the 14th.  Front line personnel and elderly in care homes, as you say.

UK not beginning Dec 8th, it was a stunt to publicity/politically revenge to the EU.... many hurdles still need to be clear in order for the UK to start to do anything, they were not prepared to stock the vaccine at such drastic cold requirements

The problem is that other countries may not except this  Brand of vaccine

Take Australia for example

* apparently their was a news story of a person who had been vaccinated from some country (maybe had proof ). But Auss said no & threw the person into quarantine 

* Now you have the Quantas CEO suggesting everyone on international flights should be vaccinated (because he wants it for Quantas )

* Auss is in the throws of what Brand of vaccine it will except & needing some type of Vac passport

It is what it is, if I need it, and have to have it - then I’m sure I will pay, but private hospitals are a license to make money.

 

Just to see my specialist, I need to be guided to the waiting room by a lovely greeter, then have my temperature, weight, height and blood pressure taken (oh sir, good news everything is normal - as last month?) and if I’m allergic to anything - 250B

I'm sure many countries are going to take this approach.  Can't argue with them.  CV19 is a nasty virus.  Obviously!
