Note the solicitor general of texas, the person who actually represents the state in such matters refused to sign the law suit.

 A Democratic Process that I would love to see upheld, to preserve the republic imop!

Better still abolish the Electoral College altogether for presidential elections and then let the electorate vote and choose the next president. They can keep the Electoral College for Senators etc but let the people decide who THEY want for POTUS.
