    I don't know much about skills and technique but I like this:

     

     

    Mark King (level 42) ... dont like their music but he can play bass

    and Flea (Red Hot Chilli Peppers)

    My understanding is that Mark wasn't a bassist by nature or choice but rather picked it up when the band needed one. Self taught and absolutely brilliant so a bit like me in that regard.
