A Thai man from Nakhon Sri Thammarat in the south of the country has admitted to the murder of a Chaiyaphum woman who was an official in the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.

After shooting her multiple times in a car in Samut Sakhon he then drove SIX hours with the corpse south before dumping her in Surat Thani.

The couple had argued after he lied about owning an orchard and being rich.

On Saturday the body of Thitirat, 35, had been found in the passenger seat of a car parked under a tree. She had been shot four times.

The discovery was made by a member of the public who had seen the car on Route 44 in Phun Phin. She had been dead several days.

Now the Surat Thani provincial police and local investigators have announced the arrest of her boyfriend Ocha Suanjan, 39, from Hua Sai, Nakhon Sri Thammarat.

He has admitted charges of murder and weapons violations. He took police to where he dumped a .38mm gun at the Wang Manao intersection in Ratchaburi.

The couple had known each other for a time. He told police that he had told Thitirat that he was a man of means and owned an orchard. In early December he had visited her parents in Chaiyaphum with her and they looked set to marry.

But it emerged that he had been lying about his financial status and she threatened not to answer his calls.

On the day of the murder he was driving her south and they were passing through Samut Sakhon province when they argued over his trickery.

He admitted that he shot her four times then covered her with a jacket in the passenger seat and put a face mask on her.

He made it look as though she was sleeping then drove six hours south dumping the murder weapon on the way.

Once in Surat Thani he told his younger brother what he had done and he came to pick him up.

Relatives urged him to surrender to police as pressure mounted in the case.

Was the man charged with the murder found dead in Surat Thani, or was it the person he killed ? Surely a professional reporter should be able to side step such ambiguity !

The headline  does create some confusion  ! But a read of the  item reveals the facts . Either badly worded  or deliberately.

Looks like the fake orchard owner was just rotten to the core ????Rip

Please execute this piece of <deleted> when are governments  going to learn murderers have no right to live.
