Hey, Trump is only giving Raffensperger a chance to come clean.  And giving him fair warning, rightly so, that there will be consequences for not doing so.  From the conclusions others have drawn from this phone call it seems they must have had the audio playing backwards.

To come clean on what?  Running an honest, legal election?

For Trump to have violated this law you would need to prove his claims are false.  Making a claim is not in and of itself a violation of law.  So you're not dealing in immutable facts but merely your own opinion as to what the facts are according to your own interpretation and assumptions of said facts.  And you're not even willing to look at all of the facts.  Nice try, J Town, but I think you're trying to waste my time.

It has nothing to do with the factuality of his claims. It's about what he's asking for and how he's asking.

I would tend to think that Trump has to prove his claims are true, rather than the people he accuses proving they are false.

Maybe not such an upset. He didn't win by much last time and Texas is already turning purple.

Isn't Scotland a socialist country? How can Republicans think this guy is patriotic in any way?

Uh-huh.

Reminiscent of the way a former Thai PM under criminal investigation went to the Beijing Olympics in 2008.  And never came back.

We can only hope.

Let's see how long it takes to file the extradition requests.

Not entirely sure what your point is here.

Firstly, Scotland isn't a purely socialist country but like most of the UK (and most of the rest of the Western world) adopts certain socialist policies that benefit it's citizens. Free health care is probably the most different from the USA but in all other respects it's pretty much the same. It always amazes me when people talk about things like a 'socialist country' when in fact all of their socialist policies are almost exactly the same as America (with the VERY obvious exception).

It's called sedition and these members of congress should be charged with such.  Sad you don't understand the problems this is causing.  And sad some still believe in this fantasy.  Insane.

1. Read the Constitution

2. Go back to law school

My point was to American rightwingers the whole world is basically socialist so they are hypocrites.

Consider the logistics: if the plane drops him off in Scotland how does he move on?  Maybe Putin sends his private jet?  Has the jet he used to go around in been sold, or been in mothballs these past 4 years?
