Would anyone like to share their favourite massage place, any hidden gems out there?

No mentions of prostitution please, as I think it is against forum rules.

As far as i know the massages are on the list of the venues actually closed because of Covid

at least in a lot of provinces in Thailand. Not sure where you are at the moment maybe you are

lucky to have some of them still open?

Anyway the turn over is huge in the massages shops, so an adress can be nice today

and bad tomorrow, particularly in these troubles times.

Not to mention the number of places who are going to close definitvely in the next months

in pattaya, the massages belonging to temple, at the temple on south pattaya rd

and soi 17 that runs in parallel is above average,

but ultimately its down to the person if they are effective.

You were the first to mention prostitution! Anyway here in Pattaya all massage shops are closed.

Agreed that massage shops are closed in Pattaya, I asked 3 shops with ladies outside and they said closed. I suspect they think it's short term a few days, remember last time when they were due to open 1 Apr and they believed it

tell me about it, the last two years are the only years when i could keep coming back to an effective masseuse.

prior to that, the good ones would without fail disappear within a few months

Massage shops are closed in Pattaya.  Perhaps you should be enquiring about virtual massages.  That's where you massage yourself, whilst looking at a massage girl on a computer screen. ????

The massage shop is much less relevant than the person doing the massage. There was a male massage guy in Chiang Mai who was very good, had to close up shop and repurpose as a hairdresser due to no customers.

I have two in Chiang Rai, both ladies in their fifties. One works in the village, doing OK since she got fired from a big hotel in Bangkok after the first lockdown there. Second has a massage shop close to my condo.

My observations from ten years of massage here is the quality of the massage is inversely proportional to the beauty of the masseuse.
