January 10, 20215 yr There are several ways that i know of to scan a QR code ( for entry to shops etc ). There is the LINE app, Thai Chana app and Mor Chana app. I use LINE and Thai Chana on my phone. My question is, Mor Chana seems to be the recommended app but is scanning with either of the other two apps acceptable to the authorities? Thanks in advance.
January 10, 20215 yr ThaiChana and MorChana are both the preferred method. At each QR scan they send your info as well as updating your status via the track and trace database that the app feeds; a 2-way data handshake. Using LINE isn't much use as you may only be sending location data and not getting any notification of possible close proximity to an infected person as LINE isn't online with the tack and trace database. As much use a writing "Kilroy was here" on the wall IMHO.

I did the QR scan, selected English and hit the Check-in option. A few seconds later my status was updated with the same green-to-go status and the current date and time-stamp.
