The main suspect in the August 2020 shooting of a tessakit (local council) man at a "Wua Lan" or rodeo event in Hua Hin Soi 6 has surrendered to the custody of police.

Krissada "Arm" Reuangthap, 30, was shot dead with a 9mm gun on August 28th and soon a warrant for murder was issued for the arrest of a Kuiburi man called Natthawut "Pla" Petchpradap, 39.

Yesterday Natthawut surrendered to Prachuap Khiri Khan police chief Pol Maj-Gen Wanchai Tharontham at Hua Hin police station. He has denied everything.

He has been charged with murder, having an illegal weapon and having a gun in a public place and is now in the custody of the Hua Hin police.

Naew Na noted that the suspect handed himself in after increasing pressure. The case resulted in the transfer of Hua Hin police chief Pol Col Phaitoon Phromkhian to clerical duties until the suspect was apprehended.

"I'm begging you. Please don't make me stay another day in Hua Hin. I confess. Take me to prison."
