Khon Kaen preparing to spend 100 million baht for free vaccinations

Thai Channel 7 and Manager both reported that the mayor of Khon Kaen in the north east of Thailand was proposing to spend 100 million baht to vaccinate 110,000 people for free.

 

The news came as another 5 cases of the virus were reported there. 

 

Theerasak Theekhayuphan proposes buying the vaccine then giving jabs as soon as possible to people in the downtown tessaban area. 

 

Jabs will be administered under health department guidelines in places like local clinics. 

 

A meeting next month will decide on the budget and the feasibility of the plan.

Ok, but then we have to thank the good doctor for informing the whole society of the real price per person for the vaccine. It equals to approx. 909 baht per person.

Now they said that it will all be free, but we all know that is a big lie. Just good to know, so they can´t overprice us.

Is Thailand considering making its citizens pay for the vaccination?

 

Is Khon Kaen a country and not part of the rest of Thailand?  Who has already made several orders?????

Doubt that will be in order.

Thai nationals - no charge.

Assorted immigrant residents - nominal.

Farang - gazillion baht per dose.
