Is there any requirement to do quarantine either in Hua hin or BKK upon return?

but worth to have some excuse, why you are travelling. Family matters, health etc.

worth to travel with thai person who would have a convincing story.

you can arrange beforehand some support from the place you are visiting.

 

there was one report 10 days ago that around samut sakhon police were checking on all outbound traffic

think I will wait a while until the country opens up properly.

we don't know if country will be opening, might be the opposite.

now western gulf might be red zone - it's closer to samut sakhon, to myanmar borders (the shortest way is through ratchaburi, phetchaburi, even prachuap), and not by borders at kanchanaburi (which is sealed tight now by army).

illegals won't be coming now to samut sakhon, they will spread to the other seaside provinces.

it's strange, that the most affected were provinces away from samut sakhon, up to trat prowince by cambodia.

if you need holiday it might be time now, when still safe, empty and cheap.

I have spend the last week in HH, when escaping bangkok smog

How about Pathumtani/Bangkok to Chonburi? I want to visit a friend there  while I have the chance. I am thinking of heading off tomorrow for a couple of days while my school is still closed. What will I likely come across on the way?..nothing? Sorry to hijack the thread.

my friends drive their car back and forth all the time last 4 weeks to Bangkok near Sutthisan BTS. 

just drive right through checkpoints.
