Updates and events in the War in Ukraine 2025
Sure. But there are Putin's dreams and there is a balance of power. Russia lost the Cold War. This loss has not been cancelled and it still works perfectly on the US side, preventing Putin from realizing his dreams in Ukraine. Although I am sure that you have not been told how Russia's loss in the Cold War works. -

Leaving food out
Thanks @Sheryl May I add that if I have hot food leftovers, I always wait until it cools, then refrigerate it - if I'm not certain that I'll use the it next day I freeze it. So, in my case, the refrigerator does make the food colder but also keeps it cool and safe from marauding insects etc. But I do think that we Westerners are a little too "precious" and don't allow our immune systems to work. I think (and you will correct me if I'm wrong) that the immune system weakens if unused, like other parts of our bodies, muscles in particular. In England, there used to be a saying "You have to eat a peck of dirt before you die" - in no way is that to be considered scientific but I think it's still true! -

One example, Little girls abandoned after birth. If the UK gave aid to help these organisations take care of these children and you have a problem with that then you are a cold cold person. -

Tourism Tourism Chiefs Rally for 3.5 Billion Baht Boost to Attract Chinese Visitors
Introduce a "landing" tax for Chinese passport holders and finance this out of that slush fund. It is the private industry, the tourism-related SMEs, who have to get their act together. From a governmental point of view: - eradicate on all levels the two-tier pricing; if necessary fine those who still keep this ill-gotten practice - throw out those zero-dollar operators - ensure sufficient Mandarin-speaking guides who can take care of this avalanche from the North; possibly allow Chinese citizen to guide their groups (as so done in most European countries) - understand that volume alone can be suicidal; sometimes quality prevails over quantity - explain in details, what they need this hefty amount of taxpayer's money for - last not least, how many Chinese have arrived and then compare that with this budget idea
