WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Joe Biden said that it will be difficult for the United States to reach herd immunity, at least 75% of the population inoculated against the coronavirus, by the end of this summer.

 

"The idea that this can be done and we can get to herd immunity much before the end of next -- this summer, is -- is very difficult," Biden told CBS news in an interview.

 

As of Sunday morning the United States has administered 41,210,937 doses of COVID-19 vaccines and distributed 59,307,800 doses, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.

Compare to Trump; positively yes. Compare same period, Biden’s approval rating was more than 10 points. Even his disapproval ratings were lower than Trump. Did I mention that he also show more empathy, more factual and in better physical and mental condition than Trump.

He's kind of right, it's not 'difficult' - it's impossible in a country that size. It will take longer.

how can you have a delivery plan when labs are holding production for quality purposes? or can't face the demand?

Trump and his four years of ignorant , malicious, bigoted, and destructive behavior is still hard, even now, to accept as reality.

Lots of folks are striving to banish him from their daily thoughts and eventually entirely from their memories without the aid of total memory wipes or extensive therapy.

What are you on about? The CDC was releasing and still is releasing daily reports. Not just that but now responsible officials such as Fauci are free to talk to the press whenever and with whomever they please. No more Trump censorship of expert reports.

Trump advocated millions infected with COVID to reach herd immunity. That’s insanity and a death wish. Biden plan is for vaccination to reach herd immunity. That’s sound and base on science. What change is stupidity by Trump and science lead consensus driven initiative by Biden.
