Going to Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hello,

how is the situation for people coming from province ( for me, Prachinburi )  to Bangkok ( 2 nights )?  ; going, ok ( no fever, everything ok ), but coming back ?

have to respect a self quarantine etc ? I don't think there are any problems, but before to ak for  an apointment with my embassy, I want to know

thanks

it's still red zone, but there are no restrictions going in or out. All police blockades were stopped at the end of january (they were set up and actively used only around new year).

personally I would't tell in the city that you are going away, because on returning you might have problems, forced self-isolation.

Print embassy appointment to show to cops, if stopped.

Also good to travel with thai to help with translation, if needed.

Bangkok might be in the red zone, but life here is nearly normal.  Just need bars and soapies to re-open, and restaurants to be allowed to sell booze.

Overall red but also split by districts.

Most is in the green, even white.

Status of 10 Feb 2021.
